NEET Exam Pattern 2021: Marking Scheme, Syllabus, Total Marks

National Testing Agency announced the NEET 2021 Exam Pattern officially. Firstly, If you are preparing for NEET 2021 then you must be aware of NEET Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, Syllabus, and total marks. the entrance exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions divided among Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and it’s conducted offline mode. while Physics and Chemistry, sections will include 45 questions each, and the Biology section will comprise 90 Questions to be answered in a total time of 180 minutes. Most importantly When you are starting preparing for the exam you must know the Pattern of the exam and all the important things like the Marking Scheme, Total Marks, and Syllabus.

Mode of Examination

NEET 2021 will be going to be conducted offline in pen and paper-based mode. In addition, candidates will be provided a rough booklet during the examination and they must mark the code for the test booklet on the OMR sheet. Moreover, You should know how to mark the OMR sheet because It’s an important factor in the preparation as a mistake can’t be erased.

NEET Marking Scheme

According to the NEET 2021 Marking Scheme, Students will be given 4 marks for each correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer. Know about the marketing scheme so, that you can get the idea about how many questions you have attempted and you don’t need to guess the questions because in every wrong answer one mark will be deducted.

  • On every right answer, you will be given 4 marks
  • One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • No mark will be deducted for the questions which have unanswered.
  • Questions that have two or more responses marked on the OMR sheet will be considered as wrong and one mark will be deducted for them.

Marking Scheme Each question consists of four marks. Total four marks will be rewarded for each correct answer.
Negative Marking one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

NEET Exam Duration

Candidates will be assigned a total of 3 hours to solve 180 questions. There is no sectional Timing. It means you will be given 180 minutes to solve the 180 questions. consequently, you have to manage your time well while attempting all three sections. There is no time limit to solve a section in NEET 2020.

There is no negative marking for unanswered questions. The paper will include multiple-choice questions and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. for each correct answer, 4 marks will be given. 45 Questions asked from Physics and Chemistry each and a total of 90 Questions asked from the Biology section. You will be given 180 minutes that is 3 hours to solve all the 180 Questions.
